What makes the Smooth Side-Wall Box different from other gravel boxes?
Three things: the outer sidewall is smooth rather than ribbed, there are no cross members underneath the box, and it is solid seam welded inside the box and on the sills instead of stitch welded. Together those give superior clean-out, no floor washboarding and a stronger, easier-to-wash body. Hardox 500 Tuf is used where the wear happens — a 4.5mm floor and doghouse, and a tailgate lined full width inside.

What sizes does the Smooth Side-Wall Box come in?
Bodies are built from 12′ to 24′ long at 96" wide. The standard configuration is a 36" Hardox sidewall with a 12" spruce side board, giving a 48" wall height, a 60" 10-gauge front wall with cab shield, and a 48" three-piece tailgate. Sidewalls are available from 18" to 60", with tailgates to 60" to suit. Petra will size the body to your chassis and axle configuration.
Can I buy just the box, or does Petra handle the whole truck?
Either way. NeuStar offers the Smooth Side-Wall as a box only, and Petra can also handle the complete upfit — hoist, hydraulics, controls, tarp system and chassis equipment spec’d to suit your truck. Call us for a full build sheet.
